"Fazer o bem sem ver a quem"
"A good deed is its own reward"

"Fazer o bem sem ver a quem."  A phrase that I heard my mother and my father, Antonio, say countless times as I was growing up.  The closest translation to that in English I guess would be "A good deed is its own reward."

You see, most people think that my mom died of cancer, but the truth is she survived cancer.   My family and I were truly blessed to have our mom around an extra 25 years after her lung cancer surgery back in 1984 at the City of Hope.  Every since then, I've felt an enormous sense of gratitude toward the City of Hope and to the advancements in cancer treatment and care, which were critical to her complete recovery from such an invasive surgery.

Although my mom has passed away, I continue to organize fundraisers, including on-line contests such as March Madness, World Cup and PickASquare to benefit the City of Hope so that more and more "success stories" like my mom's will be possible.  I hope that you will share this website with others with the confidence that,  in doing so, you will be making a difference in someone's life.

Below are some pictures and video clips about Juliana and my father Antonio that I'm sure you will enjoy.   Thank you for your time.
